Felicia and I met because we were the two ‘girly girls’ on the Varsity Lacrosse field at Puget Sound. I was instantly drawn to her fun personality, laughter came naturally, and we understood each other’s bold personalities. Second semester of Freshman year we frantically ran from the lacrosse field to do the sorority recruitment process. Then 5 days later we celebrated joining the Alpha Phi Gamma Zeta chapter which took our friendship to another level as sorority sisters. Felicia and I remained best friends throughout university sharing secrets, successes, and always laughter. After graduating college we celebrated our mutual-love for travel, fashion, and food and toured through Portugal and France. I am delighted to be honored in her wedding and celebrate the beauty and legend, Felicia Perl!! May we forever be in each-others’ lives, I love you. XOXO
Nicole Schwalge, Bridesmaid
Instead of drifting apart like some friends do after college, Felicia and I have become so much closer and have built a really strong amazing friendship that I value and cherish. We have so much in common that we have bonded over from our love of traveling, to our independent personalities, to our relationships with amazing military men, to our adventures far from home and far from all of our college friends, to our love of planning weddings! Not just that but it is so nice having Felicia to talk to because she understands the life of dating someone in the military and I could not be more excited for when she and Thomas devote their lives to each other!!!
I have not gotten to know Thomas very well but I can honestly say that I don't think I have ever seen Felicia more happy than she is now. She talks so highly of him and you can just tell they have a love that is something you don't find very often. I have seen Felicia grow in so many ways and I can just tell that Thomas is the reason she is so full of love and happiness!
Felicia I cannot wait to be apart of your wedding!!!! I love you and am so happy for you than you even know!!!!!!!! :) Cannot wait to make some awesome memories in Italy with you, our friends, and your family!!!!

The room was an explosion of pink. Pink suitcases. Pink baskets. Pink bedding. Pink towels... Being a big fan of Legally Blonde, Barbie, and almost anything girly, this was even a little much for me to handle. As I took it all in, I spotted a lacrosse stick and all of her business major books; I knew then that we would be friends. It was on this first day of freshman year of college that I met my athletic, intelligent, pink loving friend, Felicia Perl.
With Alaska being home, I often got homesick my freshman year; however, Felicia’s warm personality made it a lot easier for me to adapt to the University of Puget Sound. Throughout our time at college we joined the same sorority, Alpha Phi, attended numerous sporting events (I like to think she is now a hockey fan), shared similar class schedules, shopped, laughed, cried and grew into the people we are today.
Even though we live on different halves of the world right now, we are consistently updated on each others’ lives and very much a part of each day. Felicia has been a great support and cheer leader for me in pursing my own future plans such as attending law school next fall. I’m so glad that on that first day of freshman year I opened the door to find not only an eruption of the color pink, but a truly great friend.
Katelyn Doyle, Bridesmaid
Katelyn was a pretty easy choice. Katelyn is Thomas’ youngest sister; she loves
fashion, shopping, and plays sports…my kind of girl. I knew I wanted one of his 5
sisters to be one of my bridesmaids being that I will have 5 new sisters in my family,
I saw Katelyn to be the perfect fit.
I knew from the start Katelyn and I were going to get along great. She took me in like
I have been her sister since day 1. She isn’t the only one though. All of his sisters
have accepted me with open arms and big hearts. I look forward to getting to know
Katelyn a lot more. I know we will have many opportunities to share wonderful
experiences and make great memories.
Andrea Nemmers, Matron of Honor
In the fall of 2008, I transferred to University of Puget Sound, not knowing anyone. I met Felicia soon after. Her ability to welcome everyone with open arms and light up a room had drawn me to her and I knew we were going to be great friends. She immediately took me under her wing and it wasn't long before we were having Twilight marathons and talking for hours about our dreams of traveling and attending law school. After becoming a member of Alpha Phi Sorority, we grew closer as she became my "big sister". Over the years, her sincerity, loyalty and love for adventure are characteristics that have continued to shine through, and I admire these traits in her. She has taught me what a true best friend is and I will forever value all of our time shared together. I am so happy that she has met Thomas; her perfect match. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them as a couple and I could not be happier that they have chosen each other as lifelong partners!
We are lucky to have our friends and family with us on our special day.
Here are a few of the people who will stand beside us as we say our vows.
